The Raver
Bryan Ferry celebrating a hit single (up to 17 this week)
was at Fumble's Marquee gig on Thursday last week. He
was giving them an aural once-over with a view to producing
them.
Verdict? Ferry gave the nod and will be producing a single
for them in the near future. Mick Ronson was once rumoured
to have a go - but didn't. Ferry caught the band in a state
of exhaustion, but they played brilliantly.
A well known rock fanatic who has expressed displeasure at
Fumble's past performances stood on stage with a glazed look.
We shall interpret this as admiration.
